Surveying

Surveying has been a cornerstone service area at Zambrana Engineering, Inc. (ZEI) since it was founded over 19 years ago in St. Louis, Missouri.  Today the department has expanded its capabilities and has grown into one of the region's leaders with the reputation of state of the art techniques in surveying capabilities.  ZEI has provided full service surveying services to a wide variety of clientele including:

ZEI's staff includes experienced registered professional land surveyors in numerous states including Missouri, Illinois, Iowa and Kansas.  Survey services include Route Surveys, Environmental Support Services, Global Positioning Surveys (GPS), ALTA Surveys, topographic mapping, construction staking, boundary surveys, and hydrographic surveys.  Use of GPS technology provides for efficient interfacing of acquired survey data with ZEI’s in-house spatial geographic information systems (GIS) using ARCINFO.  ZEI offers fully-equipped survey crews with equipment for conventional surveys and GPS surveys. GPS equipment has "static", "kinematic" and "Real-time kinematic" capabilities. Fully equipped survey vehicles, with ATV's, and trailer provide for full field support.  Efficient communications between all ZE crew vehicles are maintained using a designated frequency radio system.  ZEI's crews are OSHA 40-hour certified to provide access to controlled project areas.
