The National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA)
is a landmark piece of environmental legislation that requires the use of a
systematic, interdisciplinary approach to evaluate the potential effects of
federal actions on the environment. This process requires the preparation of an
Environmental Assessment (EA) or an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to
evaluate the effect of the proposed action on various aspects of the
environment.
The interdisciplinary staff at Zambrana
Engineering, Inc. (ZEI) has prepared numerous documents required by NEPA.
Engineers, planners, and environmental staff work jointly to provide a balanced,
integrated approach that results in the development of effective analyses and
project solutions.
